A collision led to Progress getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ali Piaf hit a great ball. Rachid Cherrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Rimitti in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Baptiste Ouyahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rachid Cherrad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadel Meriem, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Lili Mazzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Progress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Ahmed Hamouda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Ferhat Rimitti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colwyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferhat Rimitti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Progress fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Colwyn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
