The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, pistolvania's Mohamed Zéroual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to pistolvania getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rachid Amri hit a great ball. Alain Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of pistolvania booed when Mo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Belkheir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Ahmed Ghozali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mo Team's Liamine Kaci Said got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes pistolvania got a freekick which was hit by Kassel Mecherara. Mo Team's Ahmed Mezair managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abdelaziz Drioueche in the 28 minute of the game. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind pistolvania's goalkeeper Mohamed Nasro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Cixous in the 35th minute of play. Mohamed Zéroual hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Liamine Kaci Said received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mohamed Nasro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Alain Cixous mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the pistolvania and the Mo Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mo Team booed when pistolvania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alain Cixous didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half pistolvania were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rachid Amri to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Fodil Belloumi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Nasro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fodil Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mohamed Nasro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fodil Belloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Amri in the 70th minute of play forced Mo Team's goalkeeper Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Cixous could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah made a huge save. Mo Team's Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Mo Team from getting a goal against them. After 73 minutes of play, pistolvania's Rachid Amri made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 78 minutes, Fodil Belloumi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mo Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fodil Belloumi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Soltani Mansouri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of pistolvania's Mohamed Nasro. Mohamed Nasro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Alain Cixous sped through Mo Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohammed Ahmed Ouadah. Mo Team were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
