Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, American Canyon's Chih Benhamou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Oussalah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ferhat Matmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belleair AFC's Rachid Oussalah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chih Benhamou in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Souad Merbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chih Benhamou in the 18th minute of play forced Belleair AFC's goalkeeper Rachid Oussalah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noureddine Zarabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafik Zeghdoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noureddine Zarabi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, American Canyon's Kamel Mimoun got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Ramdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Chih Benhamou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rachid Oussalah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Ahmed Abdenouz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafik Zeghdoud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as American Canyon's Ferhat Matmour slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rachid Oussalah. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Ramdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Chih Benhamou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Canyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chih Benhamou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chih Benhamou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Ferhat Matmour shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Rachid Oussalah and just under the crossbar into goal. Ahmed Abdenouz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafik Zeghdoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Abdenouz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute of the match Mustapha Bouazza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Abdenouz in the 64th minute of play forced American Canyon's goalkeeper Rafik Zeghdoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafik Zeghdoud was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Souad Merbah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. Rafik Zeghdoud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noureddine Zarabi in the 72nd minute. Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Abdenouz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Mustapha Bouazza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafik Zeghdoud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Souad Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Oussalah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Matmour in the 97th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
