The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chihiro Club's Djamel Abdi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhani Belmadi struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Zheng Chong Yue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimarron Hills FC. Djamel Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mohammed Doutté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Doutté charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Said Doutté the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, one of Chihiro Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chihiro Club. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Cimarron Hills FC's Mahmoud Bouziane got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zheng Chong Yue. After 15 played minutes Cimarron Hills FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Belfaa. Djamel Abdi scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammed Doutté, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Djamel Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mohammed Doutté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Cimarron Hills FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Saïdi-Sief to maneuver through the defense. The Chihiro Club fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Chihiro Club's Djamel Abdi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Djamel Abdi put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mohammed Doutté. Gugu Mineiro's late challenge caught a Cimarron Hills FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gugu Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chihiro Club! If Djamel Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chihiro Club booed when Cimarron Hills FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Saïdi-Sief didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gugu Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Chihiro Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gugu Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Djamel Abdi made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Djamel Abdi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mohammed Doutté, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Chihiro Club's Mohammed Doutté threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Djamel Abdi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Cimarron Hills FC's zone, Mansour Amara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Doutté came out of the goal and Mansour Amara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Djamel Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohammed Doutté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamel Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Souad Bedjaoui's late challenge caught a Chihiro Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Souad Bedjaoui helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cimarron Hills FC's Souad Bedjaoui got a free kick in the 67th minute. Brahim Zerguelaine's late challenge caught a Chihiro Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Abdi in the 91st minute of play forced Cimarron Hills FC's goalkeeper Mohammed Doutté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Djamel Abdi in the 93rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mohammed Doutté kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 96th minute Djamel Abdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Doutté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Chihiro Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cimarron Hills FC.
