Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karim Belkacem made the kick off and thus started the match. Karim Belkacem took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdelhamid Baroudi. Abdelhamid Baroudi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Real Makeni getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mohamed Feraoun hit a great ball. Gig Harbor's Zoheir Macias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Gig Harbor from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Gig Harbor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Sad came free, but Zoheir Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoheir Macias was a little too slow when Kamel Douibi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Zoheir Macias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Gig Harbor's Zoheir Macias got control of the ball when Zīn ud-Dīn Ramdane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zīn ud-Dīn Ramdane came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zoheir Macias could save by the left post. In the 41st minute Ahmed Sad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoheir Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoheir Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Sad in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zoheir Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalida Meriem in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Makeni's Rabah Hamdani got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Karim Belkacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhamid Baroudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gig Harbor's Zoheir Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Ramdane in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gig Harbor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Sad came free, but Zoheir Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madjid Djebbour's late challenge caught a Real Makeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madjid Djebbour helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Gig Harbor got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Djebbour. After a defensive mix-up in Real Makeni's zone, Mohammed Ahmed Saïfi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelhamid Baroudi came out of the goal and Mohammed Ahmed Saïfi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoheir Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Douibi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Gig Harbor's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Douibi came free, but Zoheir Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Gig Harbor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madjid Djebbour to maneuver through the defense. Zoheir Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Sad went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Real Makeni booed when Gig Harbor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaba Daham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalida Meriem scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoheir Macias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Makeni fully deserved thier win.
