Cheb Heddou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Assia Saadane in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Mourad Khendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mourad Khendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, BARCA-A's goal looked a bit too open when Kateb Saïd-Guerni came free, but Alain Horr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Mohamed Ibrir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARCA-A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howard FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Mohamed Ibrir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Assia Saadane during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BARCA-A getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Assia Saadane hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mourad Khendu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alain Horr was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Kateb Saïd-Guerni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Howard FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Abderraouf Kraouche hit a great ball. Sid Ahmed Amara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Cheb Heddou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cheb Heddou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Sakhri, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Howard FC booed when BARCA-A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Kouri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Said Semghoun hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Ahmed Boulebda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the game, Sid Ahmed Amara lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Cheb Heddou. Mourad Khendu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salim Sakhri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cheb Heddou firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kateb Saïd-Guerni to strike the kick off in the second half. Cheb Heddou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Sakhri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Alain Horr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kateb Saïd-Guerni in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Ibrir in the 60th minute of play forced Howard FC's goalkeeper Cheb Heddou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Howard FC got a freekick which was hit by Sid Ahmed Reda Madouni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sid Ahmed Amara in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheb Heddou saved Howard FC from getting behind. During the 74th minute of the match Sid Ahmed Reda Madouni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sid Ahmed Reda Madouni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sid Ahmed Reda Madouni hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Madjid Mohamed, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Assia Saadane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cheb Heddou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play BARCA-A's Mohamed Ibrir was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 90 played minutes BARCA-A got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ibrir. In the 93rd minute Salim Sakhri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Heddou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Howard FC's Cheb Heddou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahar Rimitti in the 94th minute of play. The BARCA-A supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Howard FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Howard FC.
