Cheb Zakaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Inter de Quito F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillaume Laurent Malek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelkader Toumi. Hocine Sofiane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Boulmerka, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Djamel Boulmerka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hocine Sofiane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Abdelkader Toumi managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE SAM UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelkader Toumi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillaume Laurent Malek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Daniel Ahmed came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the THE SAM UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Ahmed couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Inter de Quito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chih Mimoun. Fodil Hanin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Guillaume Laurent Malek made a huge save. Inter de Quito F.C.'s Guillaume Laurent Malek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Quito F.C. from getting a goal against them. Guillaume Laurent Malek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkader Toumi in the 35th minute of play. Inter de Quito F.C. made a substitution. Ahmed Reda Belaout replaced Chih Mimoun. After a rather tough play, THE SAM UNITED's Abderrachid Mehenni got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Abdelkader Toumi sped through Inter de Quito F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillaume Laurent Malek. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st minute, Fodil Hanin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillaume Laurent Malek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelkader Toumi in the 53rd minute of play. Ali Hima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillaume Laurent Malek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkader Toumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Inter de Quito F.C. booed when THE SAM UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abderrachid Mehenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Hima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillaume Laurent Malek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Cheb Zakaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hocine Sofiane having to make a save. When Djamel Boulmerka came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Inter de Quito F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamel Boulmerka couldn't finish the play. Abdelkader Toumi helped the player get up and apologised. Abdelkader Toumi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hocine Sofiane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Zakaria in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, THE SAM UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Toumi to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Zahouania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Guillaume Laurent Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mohamed Zahouania came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the THE SAM UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Zahouania couldn't finish the play. Hocine Sofiane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Zakaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. THE SAM UNITED walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
