The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enochville FC's Mounir Cherrad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Boulebda in the 9th minute of play. If Salim Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mebarek Zaaboub's late challenge caught a Enochville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mebarek Zaaboub helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BARCA-A's Mebarek Zaaboub got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fodil Merah-Benida charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fodil Merah-Benida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, BARCA-A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil Merah-Benida to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Ahmed Boulebda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Benchenaa in the 45th minute of play forced BARCA-A's goalkeeper Alain Horr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mebarek Zaaboub kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ahmed Boulebda made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tayeb Kouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in BARCA-A's zone, Salim Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alain Horr came out of the goal and Salim Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Mustapha Benhamou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enochville FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARCA-A the free kick. Alain Horr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Abbas in the 76th minute of play. Ahmed Kraouche's late challenge caught a BARCA-A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Kraouche helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmed Kraouche hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ahmed Boulebda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes BARCA-A got a freekick which was hit by Ali Saïfi. When Tahar Rimitti came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BARCA-A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahar Rimitti couldn't finish the play. If Salim Sakhri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Enochville FC booed when BARCA-A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Mouzaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, BARCA-A failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
