Guillaume Laurent Malek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Sakhri in the 23rd minute of the match. Chih Mimoun did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alain Horr 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Cheb Zakaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Quito F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb Zakaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Inter de Quito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chih Mimoun. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Quito F.C.'s zone, Tayeb Kouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillaume Laurent Malek came out of the goal and Tayeb Kouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Salim Sakhri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillaume Laurent Malek. Inter de Quito F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salim Sakhri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 47 minutes, Mebarek Zaaboub made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Inter de Quito F.C.'s Guillaume Laurent Malek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mebarek Zaaboub got free with Guillaume Laurent Malek in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Inter de Quito F.C.'s Guillaume Laurent Malek got control of the ball when Salim Sakhri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mebarek Zaaboub could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Guillaume Laurent Malek made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheb Zakaria during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Djamel Boulmerka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Madjid Mohamed fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARCA-A's protests and gave Madjid Mohamed a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes BARCA-A got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Mohamed. In the 68th minute Cheb Zakaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Horr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to BARCA-A getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mohamed Ibrir hit a great ball. Cheb Zakaria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alain Horr. BARCA-A's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guillaume Laurent Malek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahar Rimitti, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Inter de Quito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Liegeon. After 83 minutes of play, BARCA-A's Mohamed Ibrir made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillaume Laurent Malek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tahar Rimitti charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahar Rimitti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, BARCA-A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahar Rimitti to maneuver through the defense. Guillaume Laurent Malek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mebarek Zaaboub in the 97th minute of play. BARCA-A's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
