The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Méniri was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute Mohamed Méniri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaba Massi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tiger Hamlet FC's Khair ad-Din Zaoui threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damaso Olentzaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brockport's Khair ad-Din Zaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Brockport from getting a goal against them. When Abd al-Asis Merbah fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brockport's protests and gave Abd al-Asis Merbah a yellow card for diving instead.
