After some careless play in the BARCA-A defense, Ludomir Grucza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alain Horr. The BARCA-A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alain Horr should have stopped the shot. If Ludomir Grucza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mebarek Zaaboub charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mebarek Zaaboub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Mebarek Zaaboub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Grucza in the 27th minute of play forced BARCA-A's goalkeeper Alain Horr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Karelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Sakhri in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to BARCA-A getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Noureddine Mouzaoui hit a great ball. Noureddine Mouzaoui's late challenge caught a Garfield Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noureddine Mouzaoui helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Noureddine Mouzaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludomir Grucza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Horr having to interfere. Mebarek Zaaboub took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Karelas. Manos Karelas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Ludomir Grucza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garfield Dream Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Alain Horr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomir Grucza's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ludomir Grucza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alain Horr. BARCA-A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomir Grucza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 67th minute Ludomir Grucza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Horr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noureddine Mouzaoui hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Assia Kaci Said charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Assia Kaci Said the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmed Boulebda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Manos Karelas made a huge save. Garfield Dream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomir Grucza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Garfield Dream Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while BARCA-A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
