Ali Benhabiles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hocine Khendu in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Vüsal Älibäyli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmadi Djamel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deco FC's Belmadi Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dämir Abdulxälilov in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain F.C booed when Deco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abderrahmane Massi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deco FC's Belmadi Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Bougherra in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hocine Khendu was the one to do the kick off. Djamel Mamouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Paris Saint-Germain F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Häsrät Abduyev to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Deco FC's Belmadi Djamel got control of the ball when Dämir Abdulxälilov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amar Belhagj's late challenge caught a Paris Saint-Germain F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amar Belhagj helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deco FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Amar Belhagj hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Leo Ball with Marcelo Napier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Belmadi Djamel was a little too slow when Dämir Abdulxälilov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-1. Djamel Mamouni struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Belmadi Djamel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris Saint-Germain F.C. After some careless play in the Deco FC defense, Djamel Mamouni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belmadi Djamel. The Deco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belmadi Djamel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dämir Abdulxälilov got free with Belmadi Djamel in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dämir Abdulxälilov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmadi Djamel having to interfere. Belmadi Djamel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dämir Abdulxälilov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the game, Ismael Soltani landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 90 minutes, Djamel Mamouni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paris Saint-Germain F.C and the Deco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deco FC's Safy Kader was substituted for Ismael Soltani. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paris Saint-Germain F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
