Lake Carmel's Salah Hanister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelnacer Mansouri in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lake Carmel defense, Abdelnacer Mansouri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salah Hanister. The Lake Carmel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salah Hanister should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frantz el Ibrahimi to make the kick off. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salah Hanister firmly grabbed it by the left post. Salah Hanister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Dziri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Salah Hanister made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Houari Aliche sent off a good shot on target. Salah Hanister came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Tempest CF's Abdelnacer Mansouri. But to his dismay, Abdelnacer Mansouri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Fadhil Brahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 76 minutes, Fadhil Brahimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Carmel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadhil Brahimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frantz el Ibrahimi in the 78th minute of play forced Tempest CF's goalkeeper Abdelkader Nekkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Smail Meriem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lili Bensaoula charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 86th match minute, Lake Carmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhil Brahimi to maneuver through the defense. Lake Carmel's Salah Hanister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Dziri in the 89th minute of play. If Fadhil Brahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Tempest CF's goal looked a bit too open when Frantz el Ibrahimi came free, but Abdelkader Nekkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tempest CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tempest CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
