With a little luck, Paris's Lili Haddadj got control of the ball when Jean-Baptiste Azem tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Jean-Baptiste Azem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Paris's zone, Fodil Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lili Haddadj came out of the goal and Fodil Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahieddine Djamel was the one to do the kick off. Chadli Rimitti struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Abd el Hamdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Lili Haddadj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Azem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Mohamed Mezair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lili Haddadj was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Fodil Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Paris's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Baptiste Azem came free, but Lili Haddadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lili Haddadj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Baptiste Azem in the 94th minute of the match. Fodil Abbas scored 8-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lili Haddadj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Abu Dhabi United fully deserved thier win.
