The FC Black Zone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hocine Morceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Zouba in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Hameur Amara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hocine Morceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Diafat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hocine Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Mazzid in the 25th minute of the match. Hocine Morceli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farid Mazzid in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Coventry City's Ali Sadmi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasdi Zarabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Ali Sadmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Farid Mazzid was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farid Mazzid in the 53rd minute of play forced Coventry City's goalkeeper Hocine Morceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Coventry City's Mohamed Hindi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kasdi Zarabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Sadmi's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Ali Sadmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Coventry City. Hameur Bouzid stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kasdi Zarabi. 2-1. After 70 played minutes FC Black Zone got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Bessou. Kasdi Zarabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Sadmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Sadmi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Farid Mazzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Black Zone's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmed Bessou in the 78th minute. Hameur Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasdi Zarabi having to interfere. After 84 played minutes FC Black Zone got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Bessou. 85 minutes into the match, Coventry City's Hameur Bouzid broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87th minute, FC Black Zone's Mohammed Zouba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Mohammed Zouba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Hocine Morceli made a huge save. In the 91st match minute, Coventry City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Hindi to maneuver through the defense. When Ali Sadmi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Coventry City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Sadmi couldn't finish the play. FC Black Zone's Kasdi Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Sadmi in the 97th minute of play. Kasdi Zarabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hameur Amara, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
