Mauricio Cordarryl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Hocine Morceli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Noureddine Belhadj came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Roseira EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Belhadj couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Mohammad Kaci Madjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Noureddine Belhadj came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Roseira EC fans jumped to their feet. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mauricio Cordarryl took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hocine Morceli. Hocine Morceli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Noureddine Belhadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hocine Morceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Roseira EC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Noureddine Belhadj hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Mauricio Cordarryl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hocine Morceli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hocine Morceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Cordarryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Zīn ud-Dīn Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roseira EC's Noureddine Belhadj got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hocine Morceli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Cordarryl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hocine Morceli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Mauricio Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Cordarryl scored 9-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hocine Morceli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Coventry City defense, Mauricio Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hocine Morceli. The Coventry City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hocine Morceli should have stopped the shot. Roseira EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
