The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 15 minutes, Norbert Gomolka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Bradenton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Gomolka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abd al-Asis Kafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luis Islas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Islas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Scotland Neck AFC's goalkeeper Abd al-Aziz Chebal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noureddine Karim Belkassem. Abd al-Asis Kafi scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Islas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mouloud Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd al-Aziz Chebal having to interfere. In the 31st minute Bellemou Ahmed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Islas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Gomolka to strike the kick off in the second half. If Abd al-Asis Kafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamel Lacarne hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fateh Piaf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland Neck AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fateh Piaf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Islas stood somewhat misplaced when Noureddine Brahimi came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Abd al-Asis Kafi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Brahimi in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Islas saved West Bradenton from getting behind. Mohammad Gourion hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Luis Islas was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Noureddine Brahimi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noureddine Brahimi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Scotland Neck AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
