Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mancity's Mourad Taha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cheikha el Ibrahimi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheikha el Ibrahimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes South Augusta got a freekick which was hit by Cheikha el Ibrahimi. 11 minutes into the match, South Augusta's Ali Khaldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nadir Daham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Bezzaz in the 14th minute of play forced South Augusta's goalkeeper Tedj Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Khaldi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nadir Daham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Khaldi in the 27th minute. If Ali Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, South Augusta's Nadir Ahmed got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tedj Hadjar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mourad Taha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mourad Taha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ali Khaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Augusta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Khaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nadir Daham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Benhamou in the 53rd minute of play forced South Augusta's goalkeeper Tedj Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Taha came free, but Tedj Hadjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdellah Aït Salem kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mancity's Tedj Hadjar threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mourad Taha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to South Augusta getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nadir Ahmed hit a great ball. Redha Massi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Daham having to interfere. Mourad Taha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tedj Hadjar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ali Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tedj Hadjar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mehdi Bezzaz sent off a good shot on target. Tedj Hadjar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehdi Bezzaz went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Ali Khaldi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the South Augusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Khaldi couldn't finish the play. Although South Augusta had been in control for most of the match, Mancity still came away with the win.
