The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Järve to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Kusaisanke's Rabah Aït Salem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Islas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hannes Järve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luis Islas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, West Bradenton's Luis Islas got control of the ball when Hannes Järve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hannes Järve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Islas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Siqueira in the 79th minute of play forced West Bradenton's goalkeeper Luis Islas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kusaisanke's Ali Menguellet was substituted for Yazid Mhenni. Luis Islas stood somewhat misplaced when Rabah Aït Salem came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 96 minute. Kusaisanke played a much better game than West Bradenton and deserved their victory. The West Bradenton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
