Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) When Ivan Zafirov came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the VfB Stuttgart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Zafirov couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Ivan Zafirov from a close distance when the talented Tedj Hadjar managed to make a qualified save. South Augusta's players were relieved. Abd al-Asis Zahouania kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tedj Hadjar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Zafirov in the 20th minute of play. South Augusta's Tedj Hadjar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Zafirov in the 22nd minute of play. Redha Massi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Zafirov got free with Tedj Hadjar in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toma Spasunov might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tedj Hadjar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toma Spasunov ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Zafirov took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tedj Hadjar. Tedj Hadjar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Zafirov came free, but Tedj Hadjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, South Augusta's Nadir Ahmed got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Zafirov came free, but Tedj Hadjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ivan Zafirov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tedj Hadjar was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Redha Massi's late challenge caught a VfB Stuttgart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Redha Massi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute Ivan Zafirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Hadjar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tedj Hadjar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Darwis in the 66th minute of the match. Tedj Hadjar came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by VfB Stuttgart's Toma Spasunov. But to his dismay, Toma Spasunov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Zafirov came free, but Tedj Hadjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Toma Spasunov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tedj Hadjar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Ivan Zafirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Hadjar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Darwis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Toma Spasunov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfB Stuttgart fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. A collision led to South Augusta getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ali Khaldi hit a great ball. Toma Spasunov struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tedj Hadjar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfB Stuttgart. Rio Darwis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tedj Hadjar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that VfB Stuttgart were the better team. VfB Stuttgart's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
