Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jens-Ove Eliasson kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Ferris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabil Nasro to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Nabil Nasro with Abdulhamid Zafour as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 20th minute Rachid Ziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Meniri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulhamid Zafour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cheb Meniri made a huge save. A collision led to Ferris getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abdulhamid Zafour hit a great ball. Merrionette's Eskuin Izaguirre quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nabil Nasro, made in the 25th minute of the game. The throw-in from Jean-Michel Bezzaz in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Merrionette's Noureddine Cohen. Eskuin Izaguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Abdulhamid Zafour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Noureddine Cohen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Merrionette's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Ziani came free, but Cheb Meniri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ferris's Ismael Hadjar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rachid Ziani made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Ferris got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Ziani. Cheb Meniri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Ziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Merrionette's Djabir Ghozali quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antoine Madjer, made in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Eliasson in the 66th minute of play forced Ferris's goalkeeper Hocine Meriem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Eskuin Izaguirre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hocine Meriem, 0-1. Cheb Meniri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Ziani in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Merrionette getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ferris's Faouzi Djahnine broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Antoine Madjer fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferris's protests and gave Antoine Madjer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Rachid Ziani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merrionette's Cheb Meniri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Merrionette's Eskuin Izaguirre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When the match was over Merrionette could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferris throughout the match.
