Abdulhamid Zafour's late challenge caught a Muscoy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rachid Ziani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anthar Ghozali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Lacen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Muscoy's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Ziani came free, but Anthar Ghozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ferris's goal looked a bit too open when Lounès Cohen-Tannoudji came free, but Hocine Meriem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lounès Cohen-Tannoudji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. El Lacen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anthar Ghozali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, El Lacen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthar Ghozali was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 95 played minutes Lounès Cohen-Tannoudji rounded Ferris's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.
