Belaid Messaoud's late challenge caught a Vestavia Hills FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belaid Messaoud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Belaid Messaoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 43 minutes, Samir Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. King's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samir Matmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mohamed Hadjadj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Samir Matmour made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, King's Cheb Hima got control of the ball when Mohamed Hadjadj tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belaid Menguellet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Matmour in the 58th minute of the match. Samir Matmour struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Belaid Menguellet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for King. If Fouad Messaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, René Aarache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vestavia Hills FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave King the free kick. During the 71st minute of the match Belaid Messaoud completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Belaid Messaoud a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, King's Belaid Messaoud got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Karim Fellahi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vestavia Hills FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Fellahi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheb Hima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. King's Fouad Messaoud got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karim Fellahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the King players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
