With a little luck, Vestavia Hills FC's Belaid Menguellet got control of the ball when Jussef Ben Hamdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Jericho AFC's Nasreddine Apap made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belaid Menguellet was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Vestavia Hills FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mohamed Hadjadj hit a great ball. Nasreddine Apap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Belaid Menguellet managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Jericho AFC's Nasreddine Apap fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vestavia Hills FC's Assia Cerbah got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chadli Abdelghani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Hadjadj in the 25th minute of the match. Ahmed Daham was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. The referee gave Vestavia Hills FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Assia Cerbah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jericho AFC's Chadli Abdelghani. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Karim Fellahi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vestavia Hills FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Fellahi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chadli Abdelghani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Mohamed Ben Zarabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Ben Zarabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Belaid Menguellet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jussef Ben Hamdani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belaid Menguellet came out of the goal and Jussef Ben Hamdani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vestavia Hills FC's Karim Fellahi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chadli Abdelghani. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. Said Liegeon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Vestavia Hills FC's Ahmed Reda Hamid Brahima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chadli Abdelghani. Chadli Abdelghani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Jussef Ben Otman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Belaid Menguellet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jussef Ben Hamdani went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Ben Zarabi in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belaid Menguellet saved Vestavia Hills FC from getting behind. Karim Fellahi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Chadli Abdelghani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vestavia Hills FC. In the 90th minute, Mohamed Ben Zarabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Assia Cerbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chadli Abdelghani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Fellahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vestavia Hills FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
