Spectators: 7376 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 155) Cooperstown's Medjadi Sifi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medjadi Sifi in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cooperstown getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lounès Abdi hit a great ball. Grigore Coșereanu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Salim Hemdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowell FC. The supporters of Cooperstown booed when Lowell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lounès Zemmamouche didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Khair ad-Din Malek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Salim Hemdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Chaba Belhadj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Khair ad-Din Malek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Hemdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Hemdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khair ad-Din Malek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Lowell FC's Grigore Coșereanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salim Hemdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khair ad-Din Malek in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salim Hemdani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Grigore Coșereanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Coșereanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salim Hemdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lowell FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cooperstown the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Lowell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaba Belhadj to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Grigore Coșereanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim Hemdani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cooperstown's zone, Grigore Coșereanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Hemdani came out of the goal and Grigore Coșereanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khair ad-Din Malek in the 45th minute of play forced Cooperstown's goalkeeper Salim Hemdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cooperstown from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chaba Belhadj in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salim Hemdani saved Cooperstown from getting behind. After recieving a nice pass, Cooperstown's Boughera Massi tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Salim Boniche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boughera Massi in the 63rd minute of the match. Lowell FC's Grigore Coșereanu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Lounès Abdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cooperstown and the Lowell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cooperstown getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lounès Abdi hit a great ball. Norberto Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The Lowell FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Lowell FC's Grigore Coșereanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grigore Coșereanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Hemdani having to interfere. Chaba Belhadj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Hemdani having to make a save. Chaba Belhadj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigore Coșereanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Salim Hemdani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 86 minutes into the match, Lowell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Boniche came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Grigore Coșereanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Cooperstown from getting a goal against them.
