Ismael Boulahfane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 8th minute of play. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Boulahfane. Ismael Boulahfane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Hocine Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Boulahfane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Evelio Teodor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poplar Bluff AFC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Holly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Teodor to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Teodor in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medjadi Lacen saved Poplar Bluff AFC from getting behind. After 21 minutes Poplar Bluff AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bendjedid Boukensa who took care of the corner kick. Holly's Bendjedid Boukensa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Medjadi Lacen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Holly's Ismael Boulahfane got control of the ball when Hocine Oussalah tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Holly booed when Poplar Bluff AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Holly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Calisto to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Boulahfane made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Hocine Oussalah sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Abdel Hamid Chaouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Boulahfane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Haddou hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ismael Boulahfane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poplar Bluff AFC. In the 39th match minute, Holly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chaba Amara to maneuver through the defense. Chaba Amara got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Holly getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Chaba Amara hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Teodor in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medjadi Lacen saved Poplar Bluff AFC from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Teodor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hocine Oussalah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poplar Bluff AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ruben Calisto's late challenge caught a Poplar Bluff AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Calisto helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Holly got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Calisto. Holly's Ismael Boulahfane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Oussalah in the 61st minute of play. Evelio Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Hocine Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Boulahfane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Poplar Bluff AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kirill Holod came free, but Medjadi Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Hocine Oussalah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Boulahfane. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Boulahfane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ismael Boulahfane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 87th minute of play. Evelio Teodor took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Medjadi Lacen. Medjadi Lacen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 95th minute, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Boulahfane. Holly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Poplar Bluff AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
