Abdel Hamid Chaouchi started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salim Hemdani. Cooperstown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdel Hamid Chaouchi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Hamid Chaouchi in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lounès Abdi in the 11th minute of play forced Poplar Bluff AFC's goalkeeper Medjadi Lacen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salim Hemdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Oussalah in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Oussalah in the 17th minute of play forced Cooperstown's goalkeeper Salim Hemdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Hocine Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Hemdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Boniche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Medjadi Lacen made a huge save. After 20 played minutes Cooperstown got a freekick which was hit by Medjadi Sifi. In the 24th minute Hocine Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Hemdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hocine Oussalah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salim Hemdani was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Hocine Oussalah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salim Hemdani. After having played for 30 minutes, Salim Boniche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cooperstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Boniche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Medjadi Sifi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Medjadi Lacen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 40 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Salim Hemdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute Abdel Hamid Chaouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Hemdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Salim Hemdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cooperstown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poplar Bluff AFC were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medjadi Sifi was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Poplar Bluff AFC's Salim Hemdani threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdel Hamid Chaouchi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Abdel Hamid Chaouchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poplar Bluff AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cooperstown the free kick. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Hocine Oussalah came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Poplar Bluff AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hocine Oussalah couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani. Salim Hemdani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medjadi Sifi in the 65th minute of play forced Poplar Bluff AFC's goalkeeper Medjadi Lacen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hocine Oussalah in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salim Hemdani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hocine Oussalah got free with Salim Hemdani in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cooperstown's zone, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Hemdani came out of the goal and Abdel Hamid Chaouchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Abdel Hamid Chaouchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salim Hemdani was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cooperstown from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salim Hemdani. Abdel Hamid Chaouchi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Salim Hemdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Hamid Chaouchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes, Abdel Hamid Chaouchi made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Cooperstown's Salim Hemdani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The long shot by Rafik Zoheir Saadane in the 94th minute really tested Salim Hemdani's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 95 played minutes Cooperstown got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Halimi. Hocine Oussalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salim Boniche took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Medjadi Lacen. Medjadi Lacen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-9. Poplar Bluff AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
