The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Van den Berghe got free with Iker Remi in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Rijmenants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Remi having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match, Sergio Rijmenants tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iker Remi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romain Mesmakers in the 43rd minute of play forced Chapel Hill's goalkeeper Said Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Rijmenants kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Iker Remi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Rijmenants in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapel Hill's goalkeeper Said Ahmed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chapel Hill's Ryan Odenwälder was substituted for Elias Van den Berghe. 78 minutes into the match, Amir Abou Jisser dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Said Ahmed, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romain Mesmakers got free with Said Ahmed in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chapel Hill's Said Ahmed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chapel Hill from getting a goal against them. Iker Remi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Odenwälder in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Abou Jisser in the 91st minute of play forced Chapel Hill's goalkeeper Said Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustapha Al-Jazairia in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Remi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mustapha Al-Jazairia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapel Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustapha Al-Jazairia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Remi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chapel Hill were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
