In the 15th minute Ernesto Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Zemmamouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Ernesto Eguen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jussef Zemmamouche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Soltani Drid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Donato having to interfere. Cheikha Fellahi charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheikha Fellahi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cheikha Fellahi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Mohammed Matoub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jussef Zemmamouche made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tomas Dominix sent off a good shot on target. When Zebastian Holmberg fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored atlético's protests and gave Zebastian Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, atlético was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Kader in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Abdelhamid Reda Madouni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qatar Dust Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave atlético the free kick. In the 36th minute, one of Qatar Dust Kickers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Qatar Dust Kickers. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, atlético's Ernesto Eguen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jussef Zemmamouche. If Cheikha Fellahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qatar Dust Kickers were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Eguen made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Abdelhamid Khabatou notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Qatar Dust Kickers's Jussef Zemmamouche. Jussef Zemmamouche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Soltani Drid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but atlético's Cristóvão Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes atlético got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Ambriz. The supporters of Qatar Dust Kickers booed when atlético was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Ambriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Donato made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Soltani Drid sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Cristóvão Donato successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 78 minutes, Soltani Drid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qatar Dust Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soltani Drid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, atlético's Islam Kabakchi got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cheikha Fellahi in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristóvão Donato, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 84 minutes into the match, Qatar Dust Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Islam Kabakchi came free, but Jussef Zemmamouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Qatar Dust Kickers booed when atlético was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Benzine didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, atlético's goalkeeper Cristóvão Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdellah Kader. If Cheikha Fellahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Soltani Drid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. atlético's Cristóvão Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Matoub in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
