When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornell Gamelin made a kick off. Jérôme Johns might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Baca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jérôme Johns ran back to his position shaking his head. When Abram Washington came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tilbury FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Washington couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hampton! Aubrey Cortez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Fabien Martineau made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Abram Washington sent off a good shot on target.
