Spectators: 6715 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Félix Weathers started the match with the kick off. Dave Cowan struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Marco Burnette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ralston FC. 6 minutes into the match, Ralston FC's Dave Cowan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Burnette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralston FC's Gregorio Fountain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Huston in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot by Sammie Kincaid from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Marco Burnette's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Cowan got free with Marco Burnette in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dave Cowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dave Cowan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marco Burnette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mattice's Marco Burnette got control of the ball when Dave Cowan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ralston FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sammie Kincaid hit a great ball. Marco Burnette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Cowan in the 42nd minute. If Félix Weathers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marco Burnette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Cowan in the 53rd minute of play. Lambert Armstrongs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Gregorio Fountain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ezekiel Hernandez's late challenge caught a Mattice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezekiel Hernandez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mattice booed when Ralston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezekiel Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Albert Huston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fountain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Lambert Armstrong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Huston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Ralston FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidore Mock. Albert Huston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gregorio Fountain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dave Cowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Félix Weathers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ralston FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Isidore Mock hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Dave Cowan might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Burnette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Cowan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Félix Weathers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Cowan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
