Spectators: 7060 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Huston took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ernest Copeland fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rochebaucourt's protests and gave Ernest Copeland a yellow card for diving instead. Mattice's Albert Huston got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes in the game, Jerrell Hicks dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Lonny Gaulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrell Hicks in the 17th minute of play forced Mattice's goalkeeper Marco Burnette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Bureau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Huston in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Albert Huston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattice's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Huston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Bureau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rochebaucourt getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernard Séguin hit a great ball. Lambert Armstrong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hilario Bureau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albert Huston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrell Hicks in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Burnette saved Mattice from getting behind. After 32 played minutes Mattice got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Thomason. After 42 minutes of play Rochebaucourt's Ernest Copeland was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 43rd match minute, Rochebaucourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Copeland to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Lambert Armstrong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lambert Armstrong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerrell Hicks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jerrell Hicks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Burnette. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 58th minute, Normand Beaujolie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Paris Sherwood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Burnette skillfully saved the ball. Lonny Gaulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marco Burnette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerrell Hicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Burnette having to interfere. Jerrell Hicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerrell Hicks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Burnette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Hilario Bureau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lambert Armstrong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Burnette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerrell Hicks in the 81st minute. Hilario Bureau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambert Armstrong in the 84th minute of play. Jerrell Hicks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marco Burnette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattice's Marco Burnette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mattice from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Rochebaucourt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mattice.
