Mervin Medley made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 5thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gregorio Fountain would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Mervin Medley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gregorio Fountain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ezekiel Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralston FC's protests and gave Ezekiel Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Ezekiel Hernandez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin Harden in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Fountain saved Ralston FC from getting behind. If Dave Cowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeromy Maynard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Weathers in the 29th minute of play. Ernesto Samuel's late challenge caught a Ralston FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Samuel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eugenia AFC's Ernesto Samuel got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Dave Cowan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeromy Maynard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralston FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Franklin Harden scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Fountain, making the score, 1-0. Ralston FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mervin Medley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Franklin Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Fountain having to interfere. Gregorio Fountain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mervin Medley's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ralston FC's Gregorio Fountain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Harden in the 66th minute of play. Gregorio Fountain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervin Medley in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play Ralston FC's Ezekiel Hernandez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Franklin Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mervin Medley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Fountain was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Dave Cowan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeromy Maynard firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 82 played minutes Eugenia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lon Guilmette. In the 85th play minute Dave Cowan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeromy Maynard. 2-1. The supporters of Eugenia AFC booed when Ralston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidore Mock didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mervin Medley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
