Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marty Wang took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Gambo's Marty Wang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blaise Draper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Gambo defense, Derek Parsons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Jarrell. The Gambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Jarrell should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Dewitt Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Jarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Santos Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Santos Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewitt Roth in the 24th minute of play forced Gambo's goalkeeper Vince Jarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eaglesham AFC's Loup Turcotte in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gambo's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo DuLin made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 32ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Blaise Draper would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 32 minutes, Loup Turcotte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eaglesham AFC and the Gambo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loup Turcotte hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Marty Wang came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gambo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marty Wang couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Eaglesham AFC's zone, Marty Wang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaise Draper came out of the goal and Marty Wang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kelley Lynch fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eaglesham AFC's protests and gave Kelley Lynch a yellow card for diving instead.

In the 56th minute, Rocco Creech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Lee Hinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vince Jarrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vincent Rivard charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Rivard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Gambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Rivard to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Romano in the 59th minute of play forced Gambo's goalkeeper Vince Jarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Santos Romano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Gambo's Vince Jarrell. Vince Jarrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Santos Romano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vince Jarrell. The goal made the score 2-3. Santos Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dewitt Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gambo's Marty Wang got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vince Jarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Romano in the 83rd minute of play. Blaise Draper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Wang in the 90th minute of the match. The Gambo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eaglesham AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Eaglesham AFC.
