The crowd rose to their feet as Levi Bernier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerome Caudill. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Jerome Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Bernier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dirk Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Rader in the 27th minute of play forced Bridgewater AFC's goalkeeper Jacques Winters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tobias Lange came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bridgewater AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Lange couldn't finish the play. Laurence Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jacques Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Laurence Sharp made a precise shot to the right of Jacques Winters. Bridgewater AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurence Sharp to make the kick off. Jacques Winters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Sharp in the 52nd minute of the match. Laurence Sharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dirk Rader came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stephenville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Rader couldn't finish the play. Jacques Winters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Stephenville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lesley Miron to maneuver through the defense. Bridgewater AFC's Harris Prater couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stephenville FC. Jacques Winters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Rader in the 78th minute. Stephenville FC's Jerome Caudill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Bernier in the 82nd minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Stephenville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Sharp to maneuver through the defense. Harris Prater kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jacques Winters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sang Ruff in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stephenville FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
