After a defensive mix-up in Kagawong's zone, Steve McDonough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Lester came out of the goal and Steve McDonough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Brabant booed when Kagawong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korey Carson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Steve McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve McDonough's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes, Steve McDonough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brabant and the Kagawong players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antione Binet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory Madison's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes Kagawong got a freekick which was hit by Trent Tanner. Brabant's Mitchel McManus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kagawong. After 21 minutes, Fabian Bell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kagawong and the Brabant players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kagawong getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fabian Bell hit a great ball. Steve McDonough was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 28th match minute, Brabant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivier Odonnell to maneuver through the defense. Julien Goss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antione Binet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Madison in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tory Madison was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donald Ernst in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Lester saved Kagawong from getting behind. Julien Goss hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory Madison in the 64th minute of play forced Brabant's goalkeeper Antione Binet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kagawong's Tory Madison got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Olivier Odonnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donald Ernst scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Lester, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Kagawong's Lenny Henderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antione Binet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lenny Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antione Binet having to interfere. Steve McDonough struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Arturo Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brabant. In the 87th minute, Scotty Pendleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Kagawong's goal looked a bit too open when Steve McDonough came free, but Arturo Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kagawong's Arturo Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve McDonough in the 94th minute of play. Steve McDonough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Lester having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
