Jacques Winters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Oconnell in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tobias Lange could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Alphonse Callahan however easily saved by the left post. Levi Bernier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonse Callahan having to interfere. The supporters of Arrandale FC booed when Bridgewater AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Walter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Oconnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Winters having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Bridgewater AFC got a freekick which was hit by Levi Bernier. 33 minutes into the match, Arrandale FC's goalkeeper Alphonse Callahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Lange. Arrandale FC's Willie Guidry got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridgewater AFC's goalkeeper Jacques Winters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Levi Bernier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alphonse Callahan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Levi Bernier was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Willie Guidry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alphonse Callahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Lange in the 71st minute of play.
