The Stevie Murphy was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Levi Bernier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Duane Trimble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Byron Quiron hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Harris Prater sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Seaforth AFC's Stevie Murphy didn't even have to move. Wilford Delarosa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jacques Winters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seaforth AFC. Jacques Winters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarod Gage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stevie Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levi Bernier in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Levi Bernier made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stéphane Marsh hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bridgewater AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Jacques Winters, was totally fooled by Seaforth AFC's Byron Quiron, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yong Salmons in the 64th minute of play forced Bridgewater AFC's goalkeeper Jacques Winters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Yong Salmons took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jacques Winters to make any attempt to save it. Bob McClendon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bridgewater AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zackary Mailly hit a great ball. Yong Salmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yong Salmons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jacques Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bob McClendon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Seaforth AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob McClendon couldn't finish the play. After 97 played minutes Seaforth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Byron Quiron. The Seaforth AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seaforth AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
