Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dusty Stern kicked off to start the match. With 8 minutes on the clock, Robt Robertson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Innisfail:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kessock FC:s goal. After 10 minutes Innisfail's goalkeeper Robert Aldrich managed, with a little bit of luck, save Lazaro Sullivan's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Lazaro Sullivan scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Aldrich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Hurd hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Samuel Graves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Robert Aldrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Dusty Stern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Aldrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dusty Stern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Robert Aldrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Kessock FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaétan Quenneville. After having played for 40 minutes, Michale Handy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kessock FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michale Handy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Innisfail's goalkeeper Robert Aldrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daryl Crane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nigel Hurd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Innisfail's supporters rose to their feet, but Nigel Hurd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Davenport breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Kessock FC's Oswaldo Davenport got control of the ball when Daryl Crane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emerson Redding hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Innisfail booed when Kessock FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Redding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Aldrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Graves in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Graves in the 92nd minute of play forced Innisfail's goalkeeper Robert Aldrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilles Starr's late challenge caught a Kessock FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilles Starr helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Innisfail getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gilles Starr hit a great ball. Samuel Graves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Robert Aldrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kessock FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Innisfail had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
