Tenycape's Renato Malloy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Tenycape from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Newcastle FC's Darrell Greenwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Malloy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Newcastle FC got a freekick which was hit by Carey Ramos. After 16 minutes, Dave Blanco made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle FC's Donald Otero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tenycape getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valentine Dempsey hit a great ball. The long shot by Joe Seymour in the 20th minute really tested Renato Malloy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 25 minutes, Arturo Kauffman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle FC's Donald Otero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Donald Otero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Blanco went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, Tenycape's Dave Blanco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donald Otero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 40th minute Dave Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Otero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honoré Cuillerier charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honoré Cuillerier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Honoré Cuillerier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Anatole Dubose made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle FC's zone, Honoré Cuillerier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donald Otero came out of the goal and Honoré Cuillerier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Newcastle FC's goalkeeper Donald Otero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Blanco. Arturo Kauffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Otero having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Dave Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darrell Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Newcastle FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Seymour. Valentine Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Donald Otero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tenycape. If Anatole Dubose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Newcastle FC's Anatole Dubose in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tenycape's goalie prevented a goal. Donald Otero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Kauffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Tenycape got a freekick which was hit by Honoré Cuillerier. The Tenycape players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
