Donald Otero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Crane in the 5th minute of the match. Daryl Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Otero having to interfere. With a little luck, Innisfail's Robert Aldrich got control of the ball when Darrell Greenwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Gilles Starr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anatole Dubose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Darrell Greenwood, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robert Aldrich was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Innisfail's goalkeeper Robert Aldrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darrell Greenwood received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Aldrich came out and tried to block the shot, but Darrell Greenwood slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. A collision led to Innisfail getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Robt Robertson hit a great ball. The Newcastle FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Newcastle FC's Darrell Greenwood looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walton Webber kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Innisfail booed when Newcastle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derrick Metivier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Aldrich was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Anatole Dubose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatole Dubose really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walton Webber to strike the kick off in the second half. Anatole Dubose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joe Seymour hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Donald Otero made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daryl Crane sent off a good shot on target. When Daryl Crane came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Innisfail fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Crane couldn't finish the play. Walton Webber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Newcastle FC's goalkeeper Donald Otero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daryl Crane. The Newcastle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Innisfail players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Newcastle FC.
