Ferdinand Hardy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Alonzo having to interfere. Wendell McPherson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Grainland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Grainland FC's Stacey Schaefer got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Stacey Schaefer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Grainland FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stacey Schaefer couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Alejandro Schmitz made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Schmitz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Alonzo saved Grainland FC from getting behind. Wendell McPherson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Grainland FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
