The Creighton fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Creighton's Preston Summers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luc McElroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Sutherland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Gray having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Sutherland in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Levi Gray saved Sedalia AFC from getting behind. After having played for 38 minutes, Valentin Sutherland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Sutherland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudolf Albrecht kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luc McElroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. René Bilodeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luc McElroy to strike the kick off in the second half. Preston Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Levi Gray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Creighton's goal looked a bit too open when Clay Desilets came free, but René Bilodeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Luc McElroy put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of René Bilodeau. Clay Desilets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Bilodeau having to interfere. Preston Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Levi Gray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sedalia AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rudolf Albrecht hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Preston Summers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Gray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Sutherland came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Levi Gray could save by the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
