Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Horace Lindsay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Mitchell got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Francis. Augustin Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Mitchell's Levi Gray threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horace Lindsay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Augustin Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Sedalia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Lacy. Ignacio Katz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clay Desilets's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Augustin Marino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Levi Gray made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sedalia AFC's Kraig Rowell got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Royal McDowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Katz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc McElroy in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luc McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedalia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc McElroy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Katz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luc McElroy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augustin Marino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Levi Gray having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Horace Lindsay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitchell's supporters rose to their feet, but Horace Lindsay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levi Gray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clay Desilets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ignacio Katz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Clay Desilets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sedalia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clay Desilets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clay Desilets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ignacio Katz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Clay Desilets had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Katz. Mitchell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clay Desilets was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 78th minute Horace Lindsay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levi Gray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell's Ignacio Katz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mitchell from getting a goal against them. Luc McElroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenny Starks during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kenny Starks hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clay Desilets got free with Ignacio Katz in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clay Desilets scored 0-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Katz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clay Desilets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luc McElroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Katz having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sedalia AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
