Stacy Rancourt in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delmar Alonzo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

After having played for 74 minutes, Wendell McPherson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grainland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wendell McPherson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortez Whitaker's late challenge caught a Grainland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cortez Whitaker helped the player get up and apologised. Cortez Whitaker kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jackson Lacombe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Alonzo having to interfere. When Stacy Rancourt came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Stettler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stacy Rancourt couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Osvaldo Hope put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grainland FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty!
