Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Palmer Chamberlain took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arron Espinoza kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jacques Boone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pete Mabry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Veteran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felicien Hahn came free, but Lothaire Desilets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Arron Espinoza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lothaire Desilets showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Arnaud Senneville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lothaire Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Senneville in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Arnaud Senneville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothaire Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Bradford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Looney came free, but Pete Mabry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillaume Looney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felicien Hahn's late challenge caught a Veteran FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felicien Hahn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Veteran FC booed when Bradford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felicien Hahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillaume Looney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Pete Mabry made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Archie Otero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bradford FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veteran FC the free kick. Guillaume Looney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Mabry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Veteran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Palmer Chamberlain came free, but Lothaire Desilets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lothaire Desilets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Senneville in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Palmer Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bradford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmer Chamberlain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veteran FC's goalkeeper Lothaire Desilets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacques Boone to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacques Boone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Mabry having to interfere. Howard Fay hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bradford FC's Palmer Chamberlain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lothaire Desilets. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. After 73rd play minutes Arnaud Senneville shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Lothaire Desilets and just under the crossbar into goal. Lothaire Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmer Chamberlain in the 80th minute of play. Pete Mabry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Looney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaud Senneville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lothaire Desilets made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Arnaud Senneville sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Bradford FC's corner Javier Cartier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lothaire Desilets quite easily take care of the ball. Bradford FC's Archie Otero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Palmer Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothaire Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Felicien Hahn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lothaire Desilets. That made the score 0-3 in the 97 minute of play.
