Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Preston Summers took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wendell McPherson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. René Bilodeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Sutherland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Alonzo having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Creighton's goal looked a bit too open when Wendell McPherson came free, but René Bilodeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leslie Hanks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Stacey Schaefer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 20 minutes into the match, Creighton's goalkeeper René Bilodeau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stacey Schaefer. Stacey Schaefers short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got René Bilodeau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stacey Schaefer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, René Bilodeau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Valentin Sutherland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grainland FC's Delmar Alonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Creighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamison Gamache to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Grainland FC got a freekick which was hit by Art Chamberlain. Preston Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Delmar Alonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Grainland FC's René Bilodeau threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wendell McPherson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wendell McPherson to make the kick off. Creighton's Darron Pruitt suffered a sore knee after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 62nd minute, Art Chamberlain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Harland Castaneda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grainland FC's Delmar Alonzo didn't even have to move. After 69 minutes of play, Grainland FC's Wendell McPherson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Bilodeau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Sutherland took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Alonzo. Delmar Alonzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leslie Hanks during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Grainland FC booed when Creighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leslie Hanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. René Bilodeau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendell McPherson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Wendell McPherson sped through Creighton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of René Bilodeau. After a rather tough play, Grainland FC's Gilbert Randolph got a free kick in the 86th minute. Valentin Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
