Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aimé Tidwell got the match started through his kick off. Coppermine's Delbert Avare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewitt Jobin in the 47th minute of play. Woodlands F.C's Adam Coupart was substituted for Oren Barber. In the 50th minute of the match Woodlands F.C got a corner. Coppermine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Coupart ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adam Coupart made a great header on Woodlands F.C's corner, it was just that Coppermine's Delbert Avare managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Woodlands F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
