Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Florentin Prince started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Everette Lebrun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coppermine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Coppermine's Delbert Avare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Bourdette in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Bourdette in the 11th minute of play forced Coppermine's goalkeeper Delbert Avare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Florentin Prince made a precise shot to the right of Delbert Avare. Coppermine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Delbert Avare came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Greenspond FC's Stan Foote. But to his dismay, Stan Foote quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Everette Lebrun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Greenspond FC's Prosper Bourdette nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delbert Avare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Emon Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emon Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hiram Esposito came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Coppermine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hiram Esposito couldn't finish the play. Emon Diaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryce Levy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emon Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Emon Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryce Levy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emon Diaz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Florentin Prince had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delbert Avare. Coppermine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentin Prince was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emon Diaz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryce Levy saved Greenspond FC from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Coppermine got a freekick which was hit by John Whitlock. Stan Foote kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Florentin Prince hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Greenspond FC's zone, Emon Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryce Levy came out of the goal and Emon Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hiram Esposito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce Levy having to interfere. Clint Joiner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delbert Avare. Coppermine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute Florentin Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delbert Avare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hiram Esposito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greenspond FC's Clint Joiner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delbert Avare but with some difficulty. Delbert Avare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Prince, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Coppermine got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Robillard. Hiram Esposito charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hiram Esposito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hiram Esposito hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Coppermine got a freekick which was hit by Kermit Stokes.
