Matthew Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambridge. In the 84thth minute of the game Son Hackett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igloolik's Matthew Murillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge's zone, Loic Rose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilbert Bellamy came out of the goal and Loic Rose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donovan Duclos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Bellamy having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Donovan Duclos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 96 minutes, Johnson Deschênes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambridge and the Igloolik players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Igloolik booed when Cambridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnson Deschênes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cambridge supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Igloolik's performance. The match ended with a win for Igloolik.
